Angled tag topper punch- How to use it!

This first picture explains the locking aspect of the punch. This enables better storing as well as a safety feature for those of us with young children. When the locking button is in the UP position, it is locked. When it is in the DOWN position it is locked. Simple as that! 

Next we see how to make three tags with just one 11x2" piece of card stock. 
I scored my 8 1/2 by 11 inch paper and cut it into a 2 inch rectangle. 
Insert into the punch like this. 

Turn it over so that you can be sure that your paper is in the correct position. 

Push down with your palm and you will have one long piece that looks like this. You can cut your tags as long or as short as you like. 
Then decorate as you wish. 
 
This picture doesn't quite do justice to how cool these look but you can get the idea. 

Here's another cute idea:
I just used the punch on both ends of my 2 inch paper strip and tied it together with string around a tiny plastic box.
